Both of my grandfathers fought for our county. Grandpa Marshall (pictured above) was a medic and sharp shooter who fought on the front lines in WWII. He earned his 1st Sergeant stripes at age 22, was on active duty in Vietnam, and later served as a mechanic in the National Guard. Grandpa Mitchell wanted to fight for our country so much so that he lied about his age and enlisted early for the Korean War.
I am both proud of and thankful for my grandfathers’ service.
I want to say thank you to all the other service men and women. I am now offering Veteran Portrait Sessions starting July 4 and ending November 11 for current service members and veterans.
Each session includes an online gallery for viewing, sharing, and downloading images; as well as an 8×10 print. Sessions will take place at Chelsea Mitchell Photography Studio, in Great Bend Kansas. This is a photo essay style portrait session and will showcase awards, uniforms, tags, and anything else that is meaningful to your time in service.
