Jeremiah and Lily’s wedding was everything you’d imagine from two people whose lives are deeply connected to art, community, and landscape. Set once again in the rolling Flint Hills of Kansas, the day felt like a seamless continuation of their story—one filled with creativity, intention, and heartfelt connection.
From the start, the energy of the day was grounded and full of meaning. The ceremony took place in old ruins of a building in Volland Kansas, with friends and family gathered in a setting that reflected so much of who they are. Their vows were tender and personal, surrounded by the very landscape where they’ve created, taught, and built a shared life.
As esteemed photographers and educators—Lily at Southeastern Louisiana University and Jeremiah at LSU—these two live their lives immersed in storytelling. It was an honor to photograph their day with the same reverence they bring to their own work. Every moment was intentional, every detail layered with love and meaning.
The celebration that followed was full of warmth, beautiful toasts, and a special performance by Nate Hoffer on an ambient pedal steel guitar; a day that felt deeply personal.
I’m so grateful to have been a part of this chapter in their story—from engagement to rehearsal to wedding day. It’s one I’ll hold close for a long time.
