How often are
we poisoned in our daily lives? Better yet how often do we poison others with
derogatory remarks, choosing to say something or the lack of saying something
when it’s needed. How often
do we hurt people? What are our
motives, our thoughts, our intentions, where the heck were we going with that
punch line? My grandma
recently gave me a great nugget of advice- “Speak words of Faith rather than
those of fear and unbelief.” From
this, and the rest of our conversation, I gathered…be confident in what you do
because the Lord has blessed you with many great things therefore do not hide
them and keep them to yourself but share them with others…but at the same time
be true to yourself and don’t be of the world. Who are you really trying to impress? To what extent are you willing to go to
get to the top, which fake façade are you going to put on today. Speak words of Faith, for you have
favor with the Lord and have been blessed and He is not going to drop you now-
so what’s with the need to play games with one another, more or less to use whoever
you can to further yourself-is that really where we stand today…alone, fighting
one another to the top of worldly mountains, what about extending your hand to
the one behind you.
