Feelin’ the Film!

Well as most of the population is turning toward digital, I have been feeling tugs on my heart strings to dabble in the land of film once more. I am strongly influenced by photographer Jose Villa, and he shoots 100 % film. His work is inspiring and he is simply an amazing photographer. Lately I have been hearing from the few people I know that shoot film how amazing it is and how shooting film is not only better quality but plain and simple more fun. So I checked out a Mamiya 645 last weekend and needless to say we bonded. I can honestly say I had a blast shooting with it, it was like an endorphin high like when you run, simply amazing and a great feeling of accomplishment. A special thanks to Tera and Tiago for hanging out with me for yet another photo session, I love them dearly! So hear are the fruits of my labor from the weekend, still needs a ton of work but lets just say that I am feelin’ the film!
